Again, Transambiental and commitment to the environment has been present in another international conference focused on waste management and how they can be reused. The Waste Meeting 2015 took place on 2 and 3 December in the French city of Lyon after the huge success in its first edition in October 2013 in which we were also catching the latest developments in the sector.
Transambiental set up a booth in the exhibition area of the congress. There we attended the public interested in our services , both providing information and resolving doubts that they had. We also had enough to go to some of the more than 20 conferences organized, very interesting indeed, and share opinions, putting ideas together and acquire new knowledge from other viewpoints time. Onsite Waste Meeting is 100% dedicated to the treatment, recycling and recovery of waste.
In this regard, it is worth mentioning the two most important aspects Transambiental as shipments of waste: safety and licensing. We apply these maxims to the transport of solid, liquid, packaged and in bulk. For our waste transport service is one of the safest, all our motorists require authorization and special training to avoid any kind of accident as well as solve any unexpected because a mishap could have dire environmental consequences.
The aim of these days of the conference is to exchange knowledge and experiences in the area of recycling and reusing materials, organic matter and energy. As a result of this new way to use the waste energy they are reduced and sustainably be created.
The congress Waste Meeting coincided with the European Day of Circular Economy . This circular economy is one of the "seven flagship initiatives as part of the 2020 strategy that aims to create a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. It is now Europe's main strategy for generating growth and employment, with the support of the European Parliament and the European Council. "This circular economy is the intersection of the environmental and economic aspects.
Attendance at the conference was hugely successful as we could learn more about the latest technologies for waste management. From Transambiental highly we value this type of event.
